Florence Short Bartmess  was  born July 4, 1894 in Winnsboro,  La.
She was married on June 1916 to Paul Arden Bartmess, Sr. Florence died  Dec. 1971
in Arkansas.  She was a school teacher, graduated from Louisiana Normal School,
now NSU, in Natchitoches, La.  She was the daughter of Frank Perciville Short Sr.
and Cora Jane Carter Short.
