Unidentified Hammontree Women???
I need help identifing these pictures. They were in the possession of Myrt Lee Langford who got them from her mother, Maggie Hammontree Lee. Maggie got them from her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Lane Hammontree, w/o William Archelus Hammontree. Some of them may be his sisters or they might be Betty's sisters. William is the s/o Edom Hammontree & Martha Jane Smith. Betty is the d/o William Algood Lane & his first wife, Mary.
These are the sisters of William Archelus: Polly Ann Hammontree, Eliza Jane Hammontree, Sarah Isabel Hammontree, Martha Melinda Caledonia Hammontree, Margaret Mahulda Hammontree, Rebecca Alabama Hammontree, Nancy Elizabeth Hammontree, Lorinda Virginia Hammontree, Cynthia Luellen Hammontree, Laura L. Hammontree, Selina Eveline Hammontree. Nancy Elizabeth Hammontree Tipton & Cynthia Luellen Hammontree Wallace lived in Claiborne Parish. The others lived in Columbia County, AR.
These are the sisters of Elizabeth "Betty" Lane Hammontree: Sarah Lane, Susan Lane, Susanna Lane, Martha Ella Lane, Fanny Belle Lane, Tera Lane & Willie Emery Lane.
