I am a Casey descendant and researching Christopher Casey, Col William Casey and any descendants of Abner Casey ,sons Randolph,Levi,Jesse,my ggggggrandfather Christopher Casey who came to Lincoln Co Ky before 1800. Also researching Peter Casey any help would be appreciated. I do have much information  on the descendants of Abner Casey of Tyrone Co Ireland who is the father of the above men.

     I am seeking information on the John Thomas COOKSEY family.  He was born abt 1828 in
     Montgomery Co. Tn. and died in Union Co. Ky. on Nov. 29, 1881.  He was married first to
     Sarah Campbell on 31 Oct. 1858 in Mont. Co. Tn. They had the following named children:
     Sylvester E. b. 3 Aug. 1860 Trigg Co. Ky., Gustavus Wilbur "Bud" b. 1861 Trigg Co. Ky.,
     Emely Elwanda b. 1862, Lela Captala b. 1864, and Sarah Jane b. 19 Oct. 1866 d. 20 Oct
     1935 Christian Co. Ky.  John Thomas Cooksey married second to Susan Delight
     WOODSON on 22 Jan. 1870 Mont. Co. Tn., she was the daughter of Jacob Canifax and
     Susan WOODARD WOODSON.  She was born 17 Dec. 1851 Mont. Co. Tn. and died in
     Christian Co. Ky. date unk. She md. second to an unk. SIMPSON ON 22 Sept. 1898.
     John Thomas and Susan Delight WOODSON COOKSEY had the following children: Ina
     Lee, b. 31 Oct. 1870 md. David Bowles, George Ilie b. 14 Sept. 1872 md. Laura West,
     John Thomss Jr. b. 24 Apr. 1874 d. 1970 Montana, Clementine b. 20 Mar. 1876 md.
     James H. West on 15 Apr. 1892 she died 15 Apr. 1959 Muhlenburg Ky., Marvin Lorenzo
     b. 12 Oct. 1879 md. Nellie Weldon on 15 Jan. 1902, Richard Ivan b. 5 Jun 1882 md.
     Florence E. Dulin on 9 Oct. 1906 d. 12 Sept. 1970 Christian Co. Ky.  If anyone is working
     on any of the above families plesse get in contact with me.  I also would like to know the
     name of the cemetery where John Thomas COOKSEY is buried and in what town if
     someone can help me.  This is all the information I have on this family but I do have more
     information on other siblings of John Thomas COOKSEY and a little more on the

     Seeking information for Henry Bruce FLOYD, b. 1719, in Prince William county, VA, d. 21
     Jan., 1816, in Union county, KY. Henry's wife was Nancy Ann HELM, dau. of Thomas and
     Margaret (LYNAUGH) HELM. After serving in the Rev. War out of VA, Henry moved to
     Nelson co., KY, and then eventually to Union county. They had 5 children: Henry Helm
     FLOYD, b.1761, VA, d. 1850, Union county. Married Frances CROSBY; John Helm
     FLOYD, b. 1765, VA, d. 1852, Union county. Married Elizabeth JEFFERS and Henrietta
     HARGRAVE; Nathaniel Helm FLOYD, d. 1824, Union county. Married Lucy
     WORTHAM (Henry was her guardian); Frances FLOYD, married John ALVEY; and Polly
     FLOYD, married Jacob BREHMER and Cafferty REED.

     My grandfather, Henry Clay ADAMS married Laura Isabel MOBLEY on May 28, 1868.
     She was the daughter of Thorton Mobley and Lavinia Higgins MOBLEY. The Mobley's had
     the following children: John Henry, ELIZA married Edward DEVAULT) ommy ( married
     Mollie WALL) George; Thornley; Oscar (married Cynthia BROWN) Laura Isabel (Married
     Henry Clay ADAMS) and Sara VANSANT. Henry CLAY was from Boston. He was a
     blacksmith and he and Laura lived in Spring Grove or Morganfield. Laura went to school at
     St. Vincents's Academy. They had 12 children all born in that county: Mary Lavinia, Lola
     Edna (BONNER) John Shirley, William Clay, Vansant Pendleton, Bennett Blue, Harry Bell,
     Edward Corelzamen, Hallie Bernice (Flowler); Eugene Ames (Alice Boone); Ruby John and
     Joseph Henry

     What happened to the circuit court final naturalization records for Union Co. for the year
     1864? The National Archives say they are in Ky. The Ky State Archives say they are not in
     Franfort or Lexington and Morganfield claims they were sent to the archives. Seeking info on
     naturalization for my gr grandfather, Frederick W.VOSS in Union Co. (lived Caseyville) on
     April 29, 1864. He moved to Ky in 1858 with wife and daughter after filing declaration of
     intent in Cincinnati Feb, 1858.

     WORLAND About 1820 some of the WORLANDS moved to Union County. It is said that
     they helped establish St. Vicent's Academy (don't know for fact). If anyone has any info on
     WORLAND. it would be appreciated.
