He is then listed in the 1870 Taylor County census under family number# 138 as a farmer. He is 47 years old. His wife Bettie, age 34 is listed as are his thirteen children: Martha, 20; Nancy J., 18; James T., 16; Sallie A., 14; William T., 12; Arnold A., 10; Robert, 8; George, 6; Mary, 4; David, 7; Louisa, 5; John, 2; and Joseph A., 8mo. I don't know what part of Kentucky they came from, his or her parents, even when or where they were married or her maiden name. What I need to know is where could they have gone to ?
