DEED: Breeden, 1823, Shelby Co submitted by "Phyllis Hill" SHELBY COUNTY, KENTUCKY DEEDS, BOOK T, PAGE 138 E. BREEDEN to J. BREEDEN -- DEED This Indenture made this 14th day of August in the year 1823 between Elijah Breeden of the State of Indiana and County of Monroe of the one part and James Breeden of the County of Shelby and State of Kentucky of the other part witnesseth that the aforesaid Elijah Breeden for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid lawful money of Kentucky by the said James Breeden the receipt whereof is hereto acknowledged hath granted Bargained and Sold and by these Presents doth convey unto the said James Breeden his heirs &c all his rights Title and Interest in and to his part of Two hundred and eleven and a half acres of land on Plumb Creek where Frances Breeden now lives which Interest descended to him from his father bing one tenth of the aforesaid tract of land and it is expressly undestood that the land which the said Elijah Breeden has this day conveyed to John Turnham is not included in this Deed with the appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the said one undivided Tenth of said Tract of land to the said James Breeden and his heirs forever and the said Elijah Breeden will forever warrant and defend the Title to the said undivided Tenth of said Tract of land against himself and his heirs or those claiming under him or them.
