JESSE PARROTT, 70, CAMPBELLSVILLE

Jesse M. Parrott, 70, of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Benjamin Hughes Parrott and Gracie Blankenship Parrott, was born in Taylor County April 22, 1925, and died at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 1994 in Campbellsville, due to a sudden illness.

He was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Army. He retired in 1979 after 32 years as a master sergeant with the Kentucky National Guard, B Battery, 1st. Battalion, 623rd Field Artillery.

Parrott was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F&AM and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday July 16, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. James E. Jones, Dr. J. Chester Badgett and the Rev. David Henderson. Burial was in Campbellsville Memo rial Gardens with full military honors by Kentucky National Guard Honor Guard, B Battery, 1st Battalion, 623d Field Artillery.
