Due to a snow storm and resulting power outage, the usroots.com server went down October 28, 1997.
Ky-Footsteps set up temporary mail service with rootsweb.com, and eleven issues were produced there.
Our usroots account was re-established November 23, 1997, beginning with Vol I - #273.
There were several overlapping days when mail was received by both servers.
