Mrs E O Eastwood


Mrs E O Eastwood, formerly of Earlington, died at the Deaconess hospital, Evansville, (Ind.), Monday following an operation, Hopkins county friends have been advised.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the First Christian Church, Evansville. Burial was in a cemetery there.

She is survived by her husband who is conductor on the Dixie Flyer, Evansville division, Louisville & Nashville railroad, and two sons, E O Eastwood, jr., Owensboro, and Arthur Eastwood, Evansville.

Mesdames John L Long, M J Dick, W A Nisbet, H L Browning, Warren Ray of Madisonville, Misses Helen Browning and Rubye Peyton attended the funeral of Mrs Ernest Eastwood in Evansville Wednesday.

Mrs Eastwood, who was a former Earlington resident, was Miss Nellie Rootz, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Rootz, before her marriage, and spent her younger years in Earlington, where she married Mr. Eastwood.
