This section of the Breckinridge County KYGenWeb is dedicated to the memory of
William "Bill" Thompson, and in honor of his wife, Verbal Jarboe Thompson. Mr. Thompson
worked diligently on gathering information regarding Breckinridge County and it's communities,
as well as it's families and it's rich heritage. As a result of his work, much can be learned that has
been lost due to time.

A deep debt of gratitude is offered to Mr. and Mrs. Thompson's children, Alice and Jake, who have
graciously given permission for reprint of their father's work on the various communities of the county.
