In June, 1978, Michael and Bettie Cummings Cook walked this cemetery and transcribed the markers. Below are the 92 or so markers they
were able to locate, name, and give information of. Also noted were numerous fieldstones and illegible footmarkers.

In May, 2021 Jan Pate donated information compiled by Margaret Smith, Michael, and Bettie Cummings Cook in the early 1970's. It gives the beginnings
of Murray Cemetery and, in essence the town of Joeville, which would become present day Cloverport.
