21 June 1997 MACK, Richard and MACK, Betty Harvey lived in Helts Twp, Vermillion county, IN. Had many children living in the area of Vermillion County. I am looking for the parent of my g-grandmother Mary Mack Pyle. She was the granddaughter of Richard and Betty Mack and the wife of William Pyle.

20 June 1997 Please help me find the graves of LUKE BEAVER and SARAH BEAVER. They were married in White Co. in 1838. Sarah died between 1854 and 1860. Luke is in Fountain Co in 1860 and 1870, can't find him after that. He remarried to a Sarah Amanda Earle in 1860 in Fountain Co. They seem to have spent their entire lives in the area of White, Fountain and the counties nearby. I will be in Indiana at the end of the month to visit several graves of my ancestors. Please help me find these two.

20 June 1997 I am looking for information on Hugh Michael Cunningham, Sr. According to his obituary, He was born 5/8/1886 and was possibly an imigrant from Ireland, who's family located in Vermillion Co. Vigo or perhaps Clay County, but his family lived in Vermillion County for sometime. His family that I know of consited of Brothers Frank, Joseph, John, James, & Arthur and Sisters Mary Rabould, Agnus Ronsonn, & Anna Barron. I know noting about his Parents, accept his father may have been named Francis. Hugh Michael was a coal miner, on 1/16/1945 died in Evansville & was buried in at Riverside Cemetery in Clinton. He was married to Margret Cogan. Can you tell me who his parents were, when & where he imagrated from?

8 June 1997 Researching Vermillion Co, IN area on the Dinwiddie/Newton line. Wm Dinwiddie md Philadelphus/Delpha Newton Mar 2, 1816 at Person Co, N. C. This couple is in the 1840 Verm Co, IN Census with several children. By 1850, Wm & wife are no longer there, possibly deceased by then, however their children are there. The marriages also took place in Verm. Would love finding other researching this line and possibly locate the parentage of both Wm & Phidelphus. We are also searching the Craig/Craigo family of Verm. Richard J. Craig was born in Edgar Co, IN. and he being the son of Eli & Experience (Jones) Craigo that married there in 1830. Richard md Drexa Dinwiddie and this couple remained in Vermillion, rearing their family. We have been unable to find Richard's grandparents (paternal). Any help appreciated. Thank you.

2 June 1997 I am looking for any information on a Burch/Birch REED and his wife, Sebrey _______ REED, and his "beloved" grandson, William Sanders REED. According to his will on record at the Vermillion County Courthouse, Burch died about 1849. I am trying to find out specifically if Burch REED was born in South Carolina, and who his parents were. I suspect there maybe a connection to Burch and several of my other REEDS. If you can help, or know of a REED researcher please let me know. Many Thanks!

20 Apr 1997 I am looking for any information on a William J. Morgan born 1826 in Kentucky. He came to Indiana. There he owned a mercantile store, that is said to have been burned out by the Morgan Raiders which are said to be cousins. He married an Elizabeth Ladd, born 1835 in Indiana. William and Elizabeth had 10 children, oldest being Mary.. then some of the other children are John, Lauren, Annie, Jenny, and James. James was born February 19, 1870 in Eugene, Indiana...youngest of the 10 children. They left Indiana and went to Kansas after being burned out. this being in possibly mid 1870's. Any help on this family is greatly appreciate. Our local library does not have any of the census for Vermillion county. Thanks for your help.
