17 Mar 1997 Since I moved into the old WHITCOMB place in late 1992, I have been researching the Whitcombs of Indiana. Have still not found the direct link of the person--Benjamin H.--who built the house in 1902. I think I am close. Have found considerable amount of genealogical information that I have to assemble. Also have a long list of areas to search. Have even found a couple of books to eventually access. My name is Sherilyn Ridgley. My address is P. O. Box 55, Clinton, IN 47842. My son and I are also researching the RIDGELY family and have links back to England. Also I am searching my father's family, the NELSON and MOORE families in Indiana--have much to do there. My mother's family is Italian.
