I would like to add my people to your list for Putnam Co. Have traced them to Cloverdale township as early as 1850 and through 1870. In 1850 I have Ezekial and Mary Jenkins, aged 75 and 72. Also their son, William Jenkins and wife Martha with their 8 children. There are other Jenkins in the area but I cannot be positive of their relationship. Most probably they are siblings of Wm. or at least cousins. The younger Jenkins' are still there in 1860, and in 1870 the census shows Jenkins' but my ancestor, child of Wm. and Martha and also named Martha is shown married to Daniel Lancet, and 4 of their children born. They are still in the Cloverdale area. By 1880 Martha and Daniel moved to Kansas. I'm hoping of course that there are still some Jenkins' left and that they will see my note and answer me.
