DAVIS, Henry. I am looking for the date of death & burial place for
a Henry DAVIS who lived in Jay County, IN. His grandson, Walter Edward
DAVIS put on his Marriage Certificate that he was born in Dunkirk IN, Jay
County. Walter's father was David Lee Davis who must have lived in that
County also although he is buried in Deleware County, IN, where the
family finally settled. I need the dod and the place of burial on Henry.
His wife was Corrilda Sublett, she survived him and is buried in Deleware
County. Any help would greatly be appreciated and I will share
everything on this family that I have.

FLESHER cemetery in Jay County. I am conducting a study of the

My grandfather was born in Jay
County in 1878. He was Alva James (Jim) Cummins. He married Anne
Charlotte (Lottie) Ashley. His father was William J Cummins born in OH
about 1853. He married Harriet Margaret Garringer born in IN, parents
born in OH. His father was born in Ireland. I am looking for where in
OH he lived so I can find when & where his father came from Ireland. Any
help would be great.

they lived in Randolph Co., Ind. because they had a daughter
ARMSTRONG, Mary Savanna-b.28 May 1868 in Randolph Co., Ind.
They may have had Lincoln J. ARMSTRONG in 1866 and
Harmon Andrew ARMSTRONG in 1872, before moving to Anderson Co.,
Kansas. This was Jacob's second marriage,first to Lovina Ullom.

looking for Hannah Owens-Chastain. Married in Scott County in 1828 to
Benjamin Chastain. Need to know who her parents were and where she is
buried. May have been in Jefferson County at time of death. She was
supposedly full blooded Cherokee Indian. Trying to trace her or her

who lived near Ridgeville in Jay Co., IN. Rosie born 1873 & died
1955. John born 1876 (in OH)& died 1944. They were married 1896.
Both buried Ritenour
Cemetery, Ridgeville, IN. They lived for a time in Richmond, Wayne
Co. IN. John may have died in Richmond. John's parents were
George MERVIN & Rebecca SWOPE, who may have died in Randolph Co.
IN. Several children of John & Rosie, including Gladys Evelin, Naomi
Rebecca, Sarah Violet, Susan Viola and others.
