REEVES, Van Vanmeter and family lived in Jefferson TWP, Jay County in 1860's. Van and wife Mary with James, Richard, Thomas, George, Elias, Sarah, William & Isaac. They moved to Jay county from Randolph and most moved on to Cloud County, Kansas via Iowa. William b 1857 & Thomas b 1844 may have stayed in Indiana. Seeking information of the surname MORICAL/MORICLE/MORACLE - In the 1850 Census for Jay Co., the following MORACLE's were listed: household #54 Andrew and Delana MORACLE, #55 Solomon and Catherine MORACLE and #57 Jacob and Elizabeth MORACLE. I am particularly interest in the ancestors and descendants on Jacob MORACLE (b.1801) and Elizabeth HILTON (b.1812), married in Montgomery Co., Virginia 11 may 1831 and moved to Jay Co., Indiana shortly thereafter. Looking for info concerning Isaac Royston Ford (b.@1845 near Maxville, Randolph Co, IN and died in 1905 in Jay County). He was the son of Royston Ford and Delilah Mills. He served in the 19th IN Infantry during the Civil War and also served at least one term as Randolph County Coroner in the 1880's. After the death of his first wife, Hannah K. Ford (yes, that was her maiden name) he relocated to Jay County and married Sarah Thornburg. I am looking for any information or leads available on his family.

My GGGrandfather Isaac UNDERWOOD died in Jay Co, IN 6 Jun 1904. His daughter Mary Amanda (died in Jay Co Oct 1903) married Daniel G. Shafer (Died Jay Co? 1917) and they settled in Jay Co in the 1850s. They had several children in the 1860-70 time frame in Jay Co including my GGrandfather William Oliver Shafer. Thanks

any information on George W. Laflin, died in Richmond In. between 1900 and 1910. Believed to be buried in Richmond. Wife was Fannie (Greenfield) Laflin who died in 1942 and is buried in Richmond. They had 6 children, Effie, Frank Georgie, Fred, Lawrence and Arthur, (my Grandfather) George and Fannie were married in 1878 in Butler Co. Ohio, lived in several areas of Indiana including Liberty and Richmond. Need info on George's parents if avail.
