on 4 October 1849. I am searching for their death dates and place.
They lived in Noble Co., in the 1900 census but I cannot find
where they were buried nor the date they died. Any help? Thanks.

I am searching for ancestors of my GG Grandfather- William H. (Billy)
ROBINSON (or Robison).
His parents were Jonathan ROBINSON (or Robison) b 1793/1803 PA
& Mary Hatfield b 1809/1812 Md
William H. was born 7/4/1828 in Millersburg, Ohio and died 4/29/1912 in
Locke, IN. About 1850 he married Mary Ann Wortinger (b 6/13/1834) they
lived in
Legrange County, Indiana and moved to Locke, IN (Elkhart Cnty) about
1862 from Lagrange County.
William’s brothers were:
Hezekiah married Rosetta LEAPPER
Martin d 1913 Married Mary MITCHELL
George W. b 9/8/1846 Enlisted 9/13/1863 age 17 in Union Army at
Nappanee, IN in 129th Indiana Volunteers. Discharged at Indianopolis
7/29/1865. Married Sarah Miller Res 4 mi E of Goshen, IN

James was son of William Penn Gray and Alse/Alcy Smith of Pennsylvania.
His seventh son, Steadman/Stedman Gray, was b. 1836 in Elkhart County.

I am seeking any information on my great-grandfather Charles Conley. His
wife's name was Laura, and they had a son Lou (born 1888 or 1889). They
lived in Elkhart prior to moving to Oklahoma Territory circa. 1897. A
family picture shows him dressed in what might have been a fireman's
uniform. Other family portraits made in Elkhart prior to 1897 show
numerous individuals we suspect were other members of the Conley
family.

Searching for information on surnames UNGER and MITCHELL
John Unger arrived in Elkhart Co. c.1832 and died there in 1895.
He married Malinda Cartwright of Koscuisko Co in Elkhart in 1847.
Their son, W.S. Unger married Mary Mitchell in Goshen in 1890.
Her father, Mathias Mitchell (born Mathias Michel in Berne,
Switzerland) arrived in Goshen in 1852 and died in 1907. Mary's
siblings were Ella Sophia, Emma Amelia, Johnie George, Lillie,
William Edward, and Freddie Albert all born in Goshen between
1864-1879. Any information on these surnames would be greatly
appreciated. Will gladly share all info I have.

She died 03JAN1890 during childbirth.Her parents were TAYLOR, Isaac

marr Rebecca C. Vance, dau of Martin & Barbara (Stoever) Vance
of Elkhart Co, IN in 1841. They lived in the Elkhart/LaGrange
county area until 1859 when they moved to Jackson Co.,MO. While
in Indiana they had 7 children: John Absolom, Mary E., Martin
Luther, Catharine Amanda, Susanna, Barbara & Philip W.
Did Jacob have ties with the Henry Heltzel family that lived

Looking for parents of Samuel P. Beebe. In 1850 he lived in Concord Twp,
Elkhart Cty, IN. He was b. abt 1789 in CT. His wife Rosalio was b. abt
1789 in NY. He was a Justice of the Peace. He was also a Judge of the
Circuit Court. He is said to have built the second house on the north-
west corner of Main and Jackson Streets according to a History of Elkhart
County (date unknown.) Samuel was alive in the 1850 census, age 61 but
only his wife appears in the 1860 census.
