Jacob Olinger, a Revolutionary War Soldier died in Carroll Co. Ind. abt. 1852. He lived with his son John on a farm which John received for working on the Wabash Erie Canal. This farm is located across the road north of the Nebo Cemetery, near the town of Camden. Members of Jacob Olinger's family are buried in the Nebo Cemetery. There appears to be no stone for Jacob the Revolutionary War Soldier. However there is a stone for Jno. Ollinger of the Pennsylvania Line. Jacob served from Virginia. Curious as to why there is a stone for Jno. Ollinger and none for Jacob. Seeking an explantion for this. I am a descendant of Jacob Olinger who was a son of Philip Olinger who came to Pennsylvania in 1741 from Germany. HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP

Their children:Frances, b.1834 near Milton, Wayne Co.,IN, m.1846 Carroll Co.,IN.James McDowell,moved near Fairbury,Livingston Co.,IL.; Isaac,m.Harriet (Bishop); Sarah, Rachel, Thomas, Jacob, & William. Since her father died before she married, Frances must have been living with a sibling in Carroll Co. I wonder if there could be any descendants living in Carroll Co. today that descend from any of the above WILSON children?
