His mother, Emma E. CAPPS, B: 1855 was from Alabama & his father, William Thomas ROBERTS B: 1851 somewhere nearby in Florida. I would like to find out more information on both of these family lines. I believe Emmas mother was named Sarah but do not know her maiden name. Emma I believe was one of four girls. At the time of the 1870 census of Franklin County, it shows mother Sarah with 4 girls - Emma E, Martha J. Mary and a Susan. No mention of William or a male name.
