Mr. Fred Blackburn 60, of 404 
Edward Street died of chronic 
internal disorders: at 12 o'clock 
noon Thursday at his home. He had 
been seriously ill for a short 
time. He was born in the town of 
Dover on August 7, 1868;the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blackburn, and 
on July 3, 1894, was united in 
marriage to Rose Beecher. About 13 
years ago, Mr. and. Mrs. Blackburn 
moved to Burtington, where he  has 
been a shipping clerk at the 
Burlington Blanket factory. He 
teaves his wife; two-daughiers 
Mrs. Leslie Payne and Mrs. LaVerne 
Krohn of Racine, and Milo 
Blackburn at home, and by three 
brothers  Frank of Milwaulkee, 
Henry of Racine, and John ot 
Burlington also  sister Mrs. Burt 
Rosendale of Union Grove and five 
grandchildren. Funeral services 
were held at 2 p. m. Saturday from 
the home, and from the MoCarthy 
Funeral home on Geneva street.
