From the White River Vermont Valley Herald, April 25, 1915: 

TUNBRIDGE, VT news: 
Mrs. Emma L. Clark of Chicago, Ill., who came on to visit her sister, Mrs. Frank
Hoyt, died very suddenly April 13th with acute indigestion and heart failure. Her
remains were shipped to her home, Ernest Hewitt having cahrge. The sisters had not
met for 35 years.

wife Maude E age 39, b VT, laborer at box factory. 

1920 Putney, Windham, VT, Frank HOYT b VT and Ella [Helen?] B. b VT, father b. MA
and mother b. VT. 


Additional Comments:
Emma [Emmeretta] MARKHAM, was b. 1846 in Erie Co., NY, daughter of Lyman and
Elizabeth Ann GRANT MARKHAM.
