STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA    SUPERIOR COURT OF LAW     MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Fall Term 1838

MARY LENTILE
    vs.
HENRY LENTILE

Petition for Divorce

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, HENRY 
LENTILE, resides beyond the limit of this State. It is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for three months in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying said defendant, non-resident to be and appear at our Superior Court 
of Law to be held for the County of Mecklenburt at the Court House at 
Charlotte, on the 3rd Monday in February next. Then and there to plead, answer 
or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, judgment will be taken pro 
confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to him. Witness J. B. KERR, Clerk of 
the said Court at office on the 3rd Monday in August, A. D., 1838.
