STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS   MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Jan. Term, 1839

JOS.L H. WILSON, Executor of WM. MORRISON, dec'd
                vs.
A. H. MARTIN

Orginial Attachment : Levied in the hands of JOSHUA D. BOYD and him summoned 
as Garnishee

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, A. H. 
MARTIN, is not a resident of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal, 
notifying said defendant to lbe and appear at our next Court of Pleas & 
Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Mecklenburg County at the Court 
House in Charlotte on the 4th Monday in April next. Then and there to plead, 
answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro 
confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to him. Witness BRALY OATES, Clerk 
of said Court at Office on the 4th Monday of January A. D. 1939.
