STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY        MECKLENBURG COUNTY
Feb. Term, 1837

JOHN R. WILLIAMS
      vs.
ROBERT McCOMB ET AL

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, ROBERT 
McCOMB, resides outside the limits of this state, it is therefore ordered by 
the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying the said defendant, non-resident to be and appear at our 
next Court of Equity to be held for the County of Mecklenburg at the Court 
House in Charlotte on the 3rd Monday in August next. Then and there to plead, 
answer or demur to this petition filed or judgment by default will be rendered 
against him. Witness D. R. DUNLAP, Clerk of said Court at Office on May 17, 
1837.
