EDWIN POTTS
   vs. 
GEORGE DUCKWORTH

Original Attachment: Levied in the hands of JOHN A. DEWESE, and him summoned 
as Garnishee

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the Defendant, GEORGE 
DUCKWORTH, is not an inhabitant of this State, it is therefore ordered that 
publication be made for six succession weeks in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying the said defendant to be and appear at the next term of Court, to be 
held for the County of Mecklenburg at the Court House at Charlotte on the 
fourthy Monday in January next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to 
this petition filed or judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte 
as to  him. Witness CHARLES T. ALEXANDER, Clerk of said Court at office on the 
fourth Monday in October, A.D., 1841.
