    MRS. CAROLINE E. ALEXANDER, consort of MR. ADAM ALEXANDER, of Mecklenburg 
County, departed this life on the 17th instant, after a short and painful 
suffering. MRS. ALEXANDER was, for several years, a consistent member of the 
Presbyterian Church.
