Charles Wagner died at his home on Geneva Street at 8 o'clock Monday
morning after suffering over a year from paralysis.  Mr. Wagner was
born in Elsasz, Germany, November 3, 1824, and came to America in 1848.
After living in Pennsylvania for one year he came to Burlington and has
since then resided here.  On April 12, 1857, he was united in marriage
in this city and his wife now survives him.  Mr. Wagner for nearly
forty years conducted a blacksmith shop in this city.  He was an honest
and industrius man and highly esteemed.

Funeral took place at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. T. Jacobs
officiating.  This obituary ends with a thank you from Mrs. Wagner to
the St. Eustachius Society and neighbors and friends.
