How to Measure Corn in the Crib.

After leveling the corn, multiply the length & breadth of the house together and the product by
the depth, which will give the cubic feet of the bulk of the corn; then divide the last product by 19, & the quotient will be the number of barrells of shelled corn in the house or crib. If there
be a remainder after the division it will be so many twelfths of a barrel of shelled corn over.

Example: 13 feet long
       X 11 feet broad
        132
      x 6 feed deep
     792 divided by 12---cubic feet

66 barrels shelled
6 bushels in a barrel
330 bushels shelled corn
