Will of Hezekiah Thomas February 23,1881

In the name of God, Amen. I Hezekiah Thomas of Lenoir and State of North 
Carolina being weak in body and sound mind, memory and understanding, 
praise be to God for the same, do make this my last will and testament 
in manner and form following.

I give, devise, and bequeth unto my beloved wife, Nancy A. Thomas, her 
and her assigns forever, all my property- real, personal and mixed of 
what nature or kind soever and wheresoever the same may be at the time 
of my death.

If I leave any debts there shall be enough of said property sold to pay 
them.

And I do nominate, constitute and appoint my friend, J.W. Isler Executor 
of the my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all 
and every other will or wills at any time heretofore made by me, and 
declare this to be my last will and testament.

In witness where of I the said Hezekiah Thomas have here unto set my 
hand this the 23rd day of February AD 1881

for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his 
request, and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses this
