Lewis Greene Kirkland was a son of Moses and Elizabeth (Dykes)Kirkland who 
were married in Pulaski Co., Ga. March 1, 1821

Mary Jane Pickle was a daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Sulivan) Pickle 
who came from Lenoir Co., NC to Early Co., Ga. ca 1830

The last child of Lewis Green and Mary J. Pickle Kirkland was my Grandmother, 
Zemma C. (Kirkland) McDaniel who lived into her 93rd year and died in Jakin 
(Early Co) Georgia in 1970

Born also to Lewis Green and Mary J. Pickle Kirkland but not found in the 
pieces of Bible record were: Richard Kirkland born 1852; Francis Kirkland born 
1858; Martha A. E. Kirkland born 1853; Cathrine born 1868 and Joseph born ca 
1871 and Mary Jane born Jan. 26, 1861
