of St. John's Church, Pitt County, NC. Transcribed from a copy of the 
original by Martha Mewborn Marble

[NOTE: James Kilpatrick was born in the Moseley Creek area of Craven 
County and his wife may also have been born in that area. They moved to 
Lenoir County, close to Grifton after their marriage.--mmm]
