The Fields Bible
This file is a typed copy of the Records. No signature of the 
transcriptionist. Records copied from the Bible of William Coffield 
Fields, who lived in Cedar Creek Township, Cumberland County, North 
Carolina, having been born in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The Bible is 
inscribed "William Coffield Fields, A Present from his mother, January 
1st, 1867, Goldsboro, No.Car."

Dates covered 1813-1955
Bible was in the possession of William Coffield Fields, Jr. son of the 
original owner, Route 5, Fayetteville, NC at the time the copy was 
originally made.

Mary Louisa Fields and Frank W. Hancock were married Jan. 14th 1880, 
Rev. C.B. Hassell officiating.

William C. Fields and Maggie P. Wimberley were married February 21 1884-
-Rev. J. B. Cheshire, D.D. officiating.

William C. Fields, Jr and Elizabeth Gibson were married (Private)

Thomas Gibson Fields, son of Elizabeth G. and William C. Fields, Jr., 
married in Paris, France ( Date is Private), Countess Nathalie de 
Lazareff, daughter of Count Nicolai and Countess Nathalie de Lazareff.

Joseph Wimberley Fields, son of William C. and Elizabeth G. Fields, 
married (private), Elease B. Horne, daughter of David and Elizabeth 
Horne, Rev. Walker B. Healy officiating.

William Coffield Fields was born Tuesday evening 14th October 1856, son 
of Wm. B. and Mary F. Fields.

Mary Louisa Fields daughter of William B. and Mary F. Fields was born 
Friday morning 30th Sept 1858.

Charles B. Fields, son of William B. and Mary F. Fields, was born Friday 
morning 31st May 1862.

Thomas Harvey Fields son of William B. and Mary F. Fields was born 
Saturday morning 26th March 1864.

Katherine Tucker Fields, daughter of Wm B. and Mary F. Fields was born 
Jan 31st 1869.

Lula Hancock Fields daughter of William C. and Maggie P. Fields, was 
born Aug. 2nd 1887.

William Coffield Fields, Jr. son of William C. and Maggie P. Fields was 
born March 21st 1889.

Margaret Powell Wimberley, daughter of Jos. W. and Martha L. Wimberley, 
was born March 27th 1863.

William Coffield Fields 3rd son of William C. Jr. and Elizabeth Fields,

Joseph Wimberley Fields and Thomas Gibson Fields, twin sons of William 
C. Jr., and Elizabeth Gibson Fields were born (private)

Mary Frances King, daughter of Coffield and Louisa King, was born April 
11th 1826.

William Brickle Fields, son of Jeremiah Fields and his wife Mary, was 
born the fourth day of July, 1813

Irene Elizabeth Fields, daughter of Thomas G. and Nathalie de L. Fields, 
was born in Paris , France (private)

Christine Monica Fields, daughter of Thomas G. and Nathalie de L. 
Fields, was born in New York, NY. (private)

Karen Elease Fields, daughter of Joseph W. and Elease H. Fields, was

Mary F. Fields, departed this life, Thursday November 1st 1883 at 6 1/2 
o'clock A.M.

Lula Hancock Fields daughter of Wm. C. and Maggie P. Fields, departed 
this life, Tuesday, Aug. 20th, 1889 at 6 o'clock PM age 2 years and 18 
days. Cause of death "match poison". "The Lord giveth and the Lord 
taketh away."

Mary F. Fields, wife of Wm. B. Fields, daughter of Coffield and Louisa 
King, departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 3rd 1900 at 2 1/2 o'clock, PM 
aged 74 years

Maggie P. Fields, wife of W.C. Fields, and daughter of Jos. W. and 
Martha L. Wimberley departed this life Tuesday Aug 20th 1918 at 11 
o'clock PM aged 55 years.

William Coffield Fields, son of William B. and Mary F. Fields departed 
this life at 7:15 o'clock AmM. Wednesday, January 28th 1925, aged 68 
years.

Katherine Tucker Fields Grannis, daughter of William B. and Mary F. 
Fields and wife of J. Kidwell Grannis, died 31 January 1951
