Sarah Conner-Richard Richardson Bible-1756
These bible records were transcribed by Mike Edge in November 2003 from the
original bible in the possession of Mrs. Katie Moore Wood. The writing on
some of the pages was hard to read and any uncertainty is marked by a ? The
first page of the bible is missing so the publishing information was taken
from the beginning of the new testament. Some information was on loose sheets
in the bible.
William Conner had a son was born on the 24? Day June 1773 of Sarah Conner
his wife
Two X's were placed across the above entry as though it may have been
incorrect and the next entry states:
Willia hisen? Conner Was born in ye? June the 15, 1773
William Conner & Sarah his wife
note: Willia hisen could mean Willia his son or it could be Willia Heizer
because later records show that Sarah Heizer was related to this family,
possibly this persons mother
mar? February the 4 1774 (rest of entry is not clear enough to read)
