Mathias Dorn and Mathilda Schuveiller
Wedding announcement
Nicollet Leader, September 18, 1913
A very pretty autumn wedding took place at 9:30 o'clock when Miss Mathilda
Schuveiller was united in Holy wedlock with Mathias Dorn; Rev. W. J.
Skluzacek, pastor of the church officiating. The bride was attended by
her sister, Miss Mamie Schuveiller of St. Paul, as maid of honor, and the
bridesmaid was Miss Anna Dorn of Minneapolis. The groom was attended by
Anthony Dorn of Nicollet and Louis Schuveiller of Morgan. Two little
nieces of the bride, Agatha Schuveiller and Isabel Poncin of Morgan were
flower girls. After the ceremony the bridal party and invited guests
assembled at the home of the bride's mother, where a wedding reception was
held. The bride of this happy September wedding is a daughter of Mrs.
Susan Schuveiller and is an accomplished young lady of excellent
attainments and has a host of friends. She is a graduate of the Nicollet
high school and of the Normal Training Department at St. Peter, and has
been a successful teacher in this county the past four years. The groom
is a son of Mrs. Peter Johannes of this village and is a popular and
industrious young business man of Webster, S. D., where he conducts a meat
market. The happy young couple left for their future home yesterday
afternoon. We waft upon them a glorious journey on the wide Seas of
Matrimony and trust that their wedded life will be one continuous round of
pleasure and prosperity.
