Wedding announcement
Marie Julia Sondag and Benjamin Dorn
Abstracted from the Nicollet Leader, June 13, 1925
Date of marriage: Tuesday, June 9th, 1925
Place: Swan Lake Catholic church
Time: 10 A.M.
Brides attendant: Miss Dorothy Dorn, groom's sister wearing a gown of
light green crepe
Groom's attendant: Roman Dorn, groom's cousin
Flower girls: Rosella Johannes, niece of the bride and Catherine Morson,
cousin of the groom wearing yellow voile dresses and carrying yellow roses
Service performed by: Rev. Father Hrachovsky
Music by Mrs. Wm. Irrgang
Groom's parents: Mr. & Mrs. Lambert Dorn of Brighton township
Bride's parents: Mr. & Mrs. Charles Sondag of Granby township
The bride wore a gown of white radium silk, with embroidered veil and
wreath. She carried a prayer book with rosebuds and sweet peas.
A wedding dinner was held at her parent's home for 75 relatives and
friends. A dance followed the reception in the Swan Lake pavillion.
"Both the bride and groom are highly esteemed by a host of friends and
acquaintances."
They will make their home in Lafayette where the groom is a patrolman of
T. H. #15.
