Report of the Commissioners appointed to allot to the widow
Reynolds her Dower of Land.
               Patrick March Court 1829

On the motion of Meekins Reynolds admr of Jesse Reynolds
decd it is ordered that Wm Critz, John G. Lee, Wm Crum, and
Joshua Adams or any two of them be appointed commissioners
to lay off and alot to Oney Reynolds widow and relect of the
said Jesse Reynolds decd her dower of the real and personal
estate of the said decendant and make report thereof to
court.

Patrick county to wittn; this day came Wm Critz, Joshua
Adams, John G. Lee and made oath before me Adam Turner a
justice of the Peace for sd Cty that they had complyd with
the within order so faire as respecting the land.

In Obedience to the within order, we the under named
commissioners, have proceeded to alot and lay off to Oney
Reynolds widow of Jesse Reynolds decd her one third part of
the lands in value which Jesse Reynolds decd deed Seased of
agreeable to a survey made by the surveyor of Patrick County
which is inclosed in the within order given under our hand

     Surveyed March the 26th 1829 175 acres of land for Oney
Reynolds widow of Jesse Reynolds decd and bounded as follows
to wit, Beginning at a willow on a branch, thence running So
88 W38 pos runing to take seventeen apple on the north side
of the orchard, with a straight line crossing the river to a
sassafras on the river So 5E 8 poles to a apple tree So69 W
24 poles to a small chest tree thence up the river 50 poles
to a dogwood in the back line No 39 W 64 pos to a white Oak
No 61 W 90 pos to a chest tree No 46 E 94 pos crossing a
branch to a chest tree No 74 E 90 pos to an ash crossing a
br. with Deels line No 56 E 58 pos to a Double Chest Tree
thence new line So 22 E 154 pos to the begining.
