Notes:

1. Bethany Haynes is the husband of Mourning Haynes. He left a Will in
Patrick County , Virginia, 1805, naming wife Mourning Haynes, and sons
Joshua Haynes, William Haynes, Archibald Haynes, Luster Haynes, and Bethny
Haynes, Jr. Apparently Mary Haynes [Jones[ and Mourning Haynes were their
daughters.

2. Joshua Haynes, Sr., above, is thought by many Haynes Researchers to be
Bethany Haynes's son by a first marriage to Mary, and Joshua Haynes, Jr., the
son of Joshua Sr. and Elizabeth Scott.
