Will of BETHANY HAYNES, June 4, 1805, Patrick County, Virginia.
MARY JONES, of Surry County, North Carolina, made an oath on Bethany
Haynes's Last Will and Testament
To son JOSHUA HAYNES, land on North side of Old Springs Branch to the
Big Branch called Forks? Branch
1/3 of the Produce on the Plantation to wife MOURNING HAYNES, along with
all Stock, and Household Furniture
Balance of the Estate to four sons: BETHANY HAYES, JR, WILLIAM HAYNES,
LUSTER HAYNES, and JOSHUA HAYNES
Notes:
1.Son Archibald is identified in other official Bethany Haynes Documents
as one of his FIVE sons.
2. Son Luster (above) is listed as Lyles Haynes in the original copy of
the Will, but he is identified as LUSTER HAYNES.
