The following is transcribed from a copy of the inventory for Frederick
Fulkerson and his estate, Patrick Co, VA; Will Book 1; pp 26, 26a, 26b;
8/10/1795:
Note 1: Slaves by the names of Vilet and Tom are also mentioned in the
will of Augustine Thomas, husband of Deborah Fulkerson.
Note 2: All of the slaves except Sarah and "One Old Negro Woman" that are
listed in the inventory are also mentioned in Frederick's will--assuming
Jane and Jenny are the same person; Sarah would then probably be Seel's
child, unborn at the writing of the will.
Note 3: Based on my understanding of pence/shilling/pound equivalencies
(12 pence = 1 shilling; 20 shillings = 1 ), the amount carried forward at
the bottom of page 1 and the final total on page 3 are correct. However,
the amount carried forward at the bottom of page 2 is incorrect. It should
be 611 - 7 - 4.

Agreeable to an order of Court we the appraisers met at the House of
Frederick Fulkerson Decd and took an Inventory of the Estate of the
Deceased and [a]praised[?] it as Stated in the Inventory as witness our
hands this 10th day of August 1795.
