Tudor/Tudor Deed, 1917 - Patrick Co. VA


TUDOR TO TUDOR DEED (1917) 
Recorded in Deed Book 43, page 372, Patrick County, Virginia.

THIS DEED Made this seventh day of September, A.D. 1917, by W.P.Tudor and 
wife, Anna Tudor, of Patrick County and the State of Virginia, of the first 
part, to Geo. C. Tudor, of Forsyth County and State of North Carolina, of the 
second part,
WITNESSETH:
That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of Three Thousand 
Dollars, to them paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of 
which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold, and by these presents 
do bargain, sell and convey to said party of the second part, and his heirs, 
all the right, title, interest and estate of the party of the first part in 
and to tract, or parcel of land in Patrick County, State of Virginia, 
adjoining the lands of W.J.Callahan and others, bounded as follows, viz:
Beginning at a Red Oak in the old line near fence, running thence with the 
old line and with the dower tract North 60 degrees East 15 poles crossing 
Mill Creek to a Sycamore tree on bank of said creek, thence South 31 degrees 
East 12 poles crossing the creek to pointers, thence S.65 degrees East 50 
poles to a Chestnut tree in Mrs. Murphey's field, thence with her line South 
5 degrees, East 88 poles to a Black Gum at quarry of rocks in Magruder's 
line, thence with that line North 80 degrees West, 100 poles to a Spanish 
Oak, thence South 35 degrees West, 80 poles to White Oak in Wilson's line, 
thence with the new line North 35 degrees West, 15 poles to a Beech, thence 
North 58 degrees West, 24 poles to a Hickory, thence West 30 degrees West, 26 
poles to bend, thence North 14 degrees West, 26 poles to old line, thence 
with that line South 87 degrees East, 34 poles to the beginning, containing 
seventy five acres, be ths same more or less. For a particular description 
to which special reference is hereby made, see deeds from John A. Tudor and 
R.A. Woolwine, Special Commissioners, recorded in Book of Deeds No. 36, pages 
285-86-606-607, in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court in Patrick 
County, Virginia; also deed from Geo. C.Tudor, Grantor, to W.P. Tudor, 
recorded in book 42, pages 382-383. 
To have and to hold the aforesaid tract, lot or parcel of land and all 
privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, to the said party of the 
second part, his heirs and assigns, to--only use and behoof forever. And the 
said parties of the first part covenant that they are seized of said premises 
in fee and have right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are 
free and clear from all encumberences, and that they will warrent and defend 
said title to the same against the claims of all persons whatsoever.
