This Indenture made this twelfth day of February in the Year of Our
Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty nine between William N. Sharp of
the County of Patrick of the one part and Samuel Sharp of said County of the
other part in witness whereof the said William N. Sharp for and in
Consideration of the sum of One hundred and seventy five dollars to him in
hand paid by the said Samuel Sharp at or before the ensealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is thereby acknowledged hath bargained,
sold, released and Confirmed unto the said Samuel Sharp his heirs and
assigns forever a certain tract piece or parcel of Land situate lying and
being in the County of Patrick on the head waters of Russels Creek
Containing one hundred acres more or less and bounded as followeth to wit,
Begining at a black gum one of Hudsons Corners in the Original Patent,
thence south fifty five and a half degrees East fifty five poles crossing
two branches to a white oak North eight degrees East one hundred and twenty
five poles crossing a branch to a black oak, thence North thirty six degrees
West Continues on same line to two white oaks marked by parties, thence a
South course on a line marked by the parties cross the said Land to the out
side line to a sorrelwood marked as aforesaid and thence with the old line
as it meanders to the beginning; it being the hundred acres William N. Sharp
bought of Robert Sharp, with all woods, ways, water and water courses fences,
trees, orchards, houses and all other the emoluments appertaining or in
anywise belonging thereunto to have and to hold the same to him the said
Samuel Sharp his heirs and assigns forever against me my heirs my wife and
her heirs or either of us or our heirs and all and every other persons
whatsoever either in Law or equity receiving Claiming or having any Just
right title or estate thereinso but do by these presents forever warrant and
defend the land and premises above mentioned to the said Samuel Sharp his
heirs and successors to hold and fully enjoy the same -- In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above
written, and in the 53rd year of the Commonwealth
signed sealed and delivered Wm. N. Sharp L S.

This Indenture of bargain and sale from William N. Sharp to
Samuel Sharp was acknowledged in Court by the said W. N. Sharp to be his
act and deed and ordered to be recorded.
