THIS INDENTURE made this 9th day of January in the Year of our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety three. Between William Sharp of the
County of Patrick of the one part & John Sharp of the said County of the
other part. In Witness whereof the said William Sharp for & in
Consideration of the sum of Ten pounds to him in hand paid by the said John
Sharp at or before the Ensealing of these presents the Receipt whereof is
hereby Acknowledged hath Bargained, Sold, Released and confirmed unto the
said John Sharp his Heirs and Assigns forever a certain Tract or parcel of
Land lying and being in the County of Patrick containing Ninety Acres on the
Waters of the North Mayo and Bounded as followeth (To wit) Begining at
pointers in Stones and Murreys line thence with Murreys Line North Eighteen
and a half Degrees East one hundred and ten poles Crossing a Branch to a
Red Oak South Eighty Three Degrees East one hundred and Twenty poles to a
Hickory Thence new line North Seventy six degrees East Eighty poles to
pointers in Chiles's line thence with that Line North Sixty five Degrees
West one Hundred & Thirty six poles to a White Oak North Ten Degrees West
Thirty Seven poles to a Sorrelwood in Nashes & Chiles's line thence with
Nashes line South Eighty Degrees West ninety poles Crossing a Branch to a
post Oak at Pulliams line thence with it South Sixty Eight Degrees West
Thirty poles to a Sorrelwood thence new line South Thirty Degrees East One
Hundred and three poles to a Spanish Oak South fifty Degrees East Twenty
four poles to a Gum South Forty six poles to a post Oak in Stones Line South
Forty five Degrees East Twelve poles to the Begining, with all Woods Ways
Water and Water Courses Fences Orchards Houses and all other the Emoluments
Appertaining or in anywis belonging thereunto. To have and to hold the same
to him the sd. John Sharp his Heirs & Assigns forever against me my heirs my
Wife Jemimah & her Heirs or either of us our Heirs and all & every other
person or persons Whatsoever either in Law or Equity recovering claiming or
having any Just Right Title or Estate therein but do by these presents
forever Warrant and Defend the Land and Premises above mentioned unto the
said John Sharp his Heirs & Successors to hold & fully Enjoy the same. In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and afixed my Seal The day and
Year above Written & in the Sixteent Year of the Commonwealth.

The within written Indenture was Acknowledged by the Within named
William Sharp to be his Act and Deed and the same was Ordered to be Recorded
by the Court.
