Sharp/Pickeral Deed, 1831

     This Indenture made this 14th day of December in the year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred and thirty one between Saml. Sharp of the County 
of Patrick of the one part and William Pickeral of the second part 
Witnesseth whereof the said Saml Sharp for and in consideration of one 
hundred ninety dollars to him in hand paid by the said William Pickeral at 
or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof 
is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold released and confirmed unto 
the said Wm. Pickeral his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract piece or
parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Patrick on the head 
waters of Russells Creek Containing one hundred acres more or less and 
bounded as follows to wit, begining at a black gum one of Hudsons corners 
in the original patent thence South fifty five and a half degrees East fifty
five poles crossing two branches to a white oak North eighty degrees East 
one hundred and twenty five poles crossing a branch to a black oak, thence 
North thirty six degrees West Continues on same line to two white oaks 
marked by parties thence a South course across the land to the outside line 
to a sorrellwood marked as aforesaid and thence with the old line as it 
meanders to the begining (It being the Land the said Saml. Sharp bought from
William N Sharp) With all woods ways water and watercourses fences trees 
orchards houses and all other the emoluments appertaining or in any wise 
belonging thereunto to have and to hold the same to him the said William 
Pickeral his heirs and assigns for ever either in Law or equity and the said
Saml. Sharp doth warrant and defend the said Land and premises above 
mentioned to the said Wm. Pickeral his heirs and assigns to fully enjoy the 
same.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal 
the day and year above written.

	   This deed of bargain and sale from Samuel Sharp to William Pickeral
with the certificate thereon endorsed was exhibited in Court examined and 
ordered to be recorded.
