Sharp/Sharp Deed, 1833

Grantor: Heirs of Robert Sharp
Grantee: William N. Sharp
Date: 15 Aug 1833

     This Indenture made this 15th day of August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and thirty three; Between Matthew Sandefur appointed 
Commissioner by the County Court of Patrick by a decree of court in the case
of William N. Sharp plaintiff and the heirs of Robert Sharp decd. Defendants
made at July Court 1833 of the one part and William Sharp of the County of 
Patrick and State of Virginia of the other part, Witnesseth that the said 
Mr. Sandefur by reason of the provisions of the said decree and for and in 
consideration of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold unto the said
William Sharp a certain tract of Land containing fifty six acres lying and 
being in the County of Patrick.  It being the same Land in the plaintiffs 
Bill mentioned which was transfered by Blizzard MacGruder to Robert Sharp by
deed of record in the Clerks office of Patrick County and bounded as follows 
to wit Begining at Sharps Corner white thence new line N 65 E. 36 poles to a
black gum in Waltons old order line with that line So. 12 E. 54 poles to 
pointers So. 34 E 220 poles to a Spanish oak So. 55 W. 98 poles to Sharps 
corner white oak on a branch, with his line N 8 E 116 poles crossing a 
branch to a red oak N 30 W 140 poles to the beginning -- To have and to hold
the said Tract of Land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him 
the said William N. Sharp and his heirs forever to the only proper use 
behoof & benefit of him the said William N. Sharp and his heirs.  And the 
said M. Sandifur for himself and his heirs will warrant the title of the 
said tract of Land to the said Wm. N. Sharp and his heirs free from the 
claim of the said M. Sandefur and his heirs.  But does not warrant against 
the claims of any other person -- In witness whereof he hath hereunto set 
his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written.

           	This deed from M. Sandefur Comr. to William N. Sharp was 
presented in court acknowledged and ordered to be recorded.
