THIS INDENTURE made this 27th day of April in the year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and Ninety eight Between John Sharp of the County of
Patrick of the one part and Robert Sharp of P. County of the other part In
witness whereof the sd. John Sharp for and in Consideration of the sum of
Eighteen pounds to him in hand paid by the said Robert Sharp the receipt
whereof he hereby Acknowledged hath Bargained sold released and Confirmed
unto the said Robert Sharp his heirs and assigns forever a Certain Tract
piece or parcel of Land lying and being in the County aforesaid on the head
waters of Russells Creek Containing one hundred Acres more or less, and
bounded as followeth to wit, Begining at a Corner white oak in sd. Robert
Sharp's line running thence with the old line a North West Course to a white
Oak thence with the said Old line Patented in Joshua Hudsons name a West
Course to another Corner thence with the said line a South Course to a
Sorrellwood in sd. Robt. Sharps line thence with his line to the Begining it
being the same Land that John Hall sold to John Sharp Jr. and also Settled
by the said Hall. With all woods ways Water and Water Courses Fences Houses
& all other the emoluments appertaining or in any wise belonging thereunto
to have and to hold the same to him the said Robert Sharp his heirs and
assigns forever, against me my heirs and assigns and all and every other
person or persons whatsoever in law or equity recovering Claiming or having
any Just Right Title or estate therein but do by these presents Warrent and
Defend the Land and premises above mentioned to him the sd. Robert Sharp and
his Successors to hold and fully enjoy the same forever. IN witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal the Date above.

The Within Written Indenture was Acknowledged by the within named John
Sharp Jr. to be his Act and Deed and the same was Ordered to be Recorded by
the Court.
