THIS INDENTURE made this 12th day of March in the Year of our Lord Christ One Thousand Seven 
hundred and Ninety Two Between John Sharp of the County of Patrick of the one part & John Crum 
of the said County of the other part In Witness whereof the said John Sharp for and in 
Consideration of the sum of Ten pounds to him in hand paid by the said John Crum at or before 
the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath 
bargained Sold released & confirmed unto the said John Crum his heirs and Assigns forever a 
certain tract piece or parcel of Land situate lying & being in the County of Patrick on Mayo & 
Bounded as followeth (to wit) Begining at pointers in Stones & Murrys line thence with Murrys 
line north Eighteen & a half degrees East One hundred & Ten poles crossing a Branch to a Red 
Oak South Eighty Three degrees East one hundred & twenty poles to a hikory, thence new line 
North Seventy Six Degrees East Eight poles to pointers in Chiles's line thence with that line 
North sixty five degrees West One hundred & thirty six poles to a White Oak North Ten degrees 
West thirty Seven poles to a Sorrel Wood in Nashes and Chiles's line thence with Nashes line 
South Eighty Degrees West Ninety poles crossing a Branch to a post Oak at Pulliams line thence 
with it South Sixty eight degrees West thirty poles to a Sorrelwood thence new line South 
Thirty degrees East One hundred & three poles to a Spanish Oak South fifty degrees East Twenty 
four poles to a Gum South Forty Six poles to a post Oak in Stones' line South Forty five 
degrees East Twelve poles to the Begining, Containing Ninety Acres with all Woods Ways Water 
and Water Courses Fences Orchards houses and all other the Emoluments Appertaining or in 
anywise belonging thereunto.  TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same to him the said John Crum, his heirs 
& Assigns forever against me my Heirs my Wife Frances & her heirs or either of us or our heirs 
and all and every other person Persons whatsoever either in Law or Equity recovering Claiming 
or having any Just right Title or estate therein but do by these presents forever Warrant and 
defend the Land and premises above mentioned to the said John Crum, his heirs and Successors to 
hold and fully enjoy the same.  IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Affixed my 
seal the day and Year above Written & in the Sixteenth Year of the Commonwealth.

At a Court of Quarterly Sessions continued & held for Patrick County on the 13th day of March 
1792

     The within Identure was Acknowledged by the within named John Sharp to be his Act & Deed & 
the same was Ordered to be Recorded by the Court.
