Reynolds/Tudor Deed, 1833 - Patrick Co. VA


REYNOLDS TO TUDOR DEED (1833) 
Recorded in Deed Book 8, Page 256.

The Indenture maid this the 12th day of September in the year of our Loyd 
crist one thousand eight hundred and thirty three Between Meekins Reynolds of 
the County of Patrick and state Va of one part and Robert tuder of the said 
County and State of the other part in witness whereof the said Meekins 
Reynolds for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars to him in 
hand payd by the said Robert Tuder at or before the inscribing and the 
delivery of these presents the script whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
bargained and sold releast and confirmed unto the said Robert Tuder his heirs 
and assigns forever a certain tract pies or parcels of land lying and being 
in the County of Patrick on the waters of the Roring Fork being a part of the 
Land that the said Meekins Reynolds bought of the Legatees of Tyree Reynolds 
dec'd containing twenty five acres all the same mor or less and bounderd as 
follows to wit.
Begining on the roring fork at the mouth of a branch on a beach there running 
Eastwardly thence the way to the said Reynolds is and Anglin's pereters on 
two chestnuts trees as the crops posted on the vdg there with Anglin's line 
to Anglin's and Ingrum's and Sawliples corner post oak there Northwardly to 
down the vdg to a corner to a poast oak there westwardly to a white oak 
corner in Elijah Spencer's line Southwardly with Spencer's line to a corner 
in a troginey on the creek then a conditional line to the Begining.
With all wods ways water and water coarse forever trees orchards houses and 
all other the amoluments appurtaining or in any wise belonging thereunto the 
have and to hold the same to him the said Robert Tuder his airs and assigns 
forever against all my heirs my wife mary and her heirs neither of us or our 
heirs and all and every other person or persons whatsoever either in law or 
equity recovering claiming or having any just rite will or estate ther in but 
do by ther presents forever warrant and defend the land and pressuses a bove 
mentioned to the said Robert Tuder his hers and sucessors to hold and fully 
injoy the same. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and afixt my 
seal the day and year abov riten.

This Deed from Meekins Reynolds to Robert Tuder was acknowledged by the said 
Reynolds and ordered to be recorded - And Mary Reynolds wife of the said 
Meekins Reynolds herein comes being examined previly & a part from her 
husband, declared she willingly relingquished her right of dower to the Land 
in this Deed mentioned.
