THIS INDENTURE made the 8th day of April in the year of 1795 BETWEEN Gabriel 
Penn of the County of Patrick of the one part and Thomas Bowling, Robert 
Sharp et al of said County of the other part IN WITNESS whereof the said 
Gabriel Penn for and in consideration of the Sum of Ninety Pounds to him in 
hand paid by said Bowling and Sharp et al at or before the ensealing and 
Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath 
Bargained Sold Released and Confirmed unto the said Parties their Heirs and 
assigns forever a Certain Tract peace or Parcel of Land Situate Lying and 
being in the County of Patrick on the Water of South Mayo Containing 200 
Acres more or less and bounded as followeth to wit Beginning at Eliphaz 
Sheltons Line runing South 4 poles to George Carters Line thence along his 
line 3 1/2 poles to a red oak thence along a new marked Line to the 
Beginning With all woods ways Waters and Water Courses Fences Trees Orchards 
Houses and all other Emoluaments appertaining or in any wise belonging 
thereunto To have and to hold the same to them the said Bowling and Sharp 
and their heirs and assigns forever against me my Heirs and all and any 
other Person or Persons whatsoever either in Law or Equity but do by these 
presents forever Warrant and defend the Land and Premises above mentioned to 
the said Parties their Heirs and Successors to hold and fully Enjoy the 
same.  IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto affixed my Seal the Day and Year 
above Written And in the 19th year of the Commonwealth

At a Court of Quarterly Session held for Patrick County on the 30th day of 
April 1795
               The within written Indenture was acknowledged by the within 
named Gabriel Penn to be his Act and Deed and the same was ordered to be 
Recorded by the Court.
