Dower for Lucy Lee from Lot Lee (deceased)

We the Commissioners appointed by the April term of Court to lay off the dower of the widow 
Lucy Lee in the former lands of Lot Lee decd., after being duly sworn have performed the duties 
assigned us. Beginning at the corner polar stump on the bank of Rockcastle Creek on the side of 
the road - thence with the road to a corner chestnut oak near the top of the ridge thence 
supposing northwest a capped line to a chestnut oak in or near Deharts new line thence with 
this line to the beginning supposed to be about 30 acres.

In Patrick County Court May term 1877, 
This assignment of the dower of Lucy Lee in the lands of her late husband Lot Lee deceased was 
this day returned to the Court and no exceptions having been made to the report the same is 
confirmed and established as the dower of Lucy Lee in the lands of her late husband Lot Lee 
died and it is ordered that the said Lucy Lee hold the said lands to assigned as aforesaid as 
and for her dower and it is ordered that the same be recorded.
