One acre on the waters of Puppy Creek

  This deed made this 18th day of December 1909 between Ruben E. Wright and 
Thomas J. Turner of the County of Patrick and State of Virginia. Witnesseth That 
the said Ruben E. Wright for the sum of Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents paid in 
hand hath sold to the said Thomas J. Turner a certain piece of land in the 
County of Patrick on the waters of Puppy Creek containing One acre more or less 
and bounded as follows by the lands of T. J. Turner, beginning on a White Oak 
bush in R. E. Wrights old line, thence N75  W13 poles 9 links to a Locust 
thence S89 W12 pos. 15 links to a Sourwood on a ridge, thence S45 W16
poles 15 links to a Maple in the Old line near Sourwood pointers, thence with 
the Old line to the beginning.  To have and to hold said land to the said Thomas 
J. Turner & heirs forever.
