L. Turner & T. J. Turner of the other part, witnessth that in consideration of the sum four hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and fifty dollars to be paid when ever the said Nancy Bryant makes her right to said land. The said John Bryant doth grant unto the said S. L. & T. J. Turner a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Patrick and State of Virginia on both sides of Puppy Creek containing one hundred and twenty-seven acres more or less, with general warranty bounded as follows, Beginning at the creek in Jeremiah Turner's line thence down the creek to a bunch of walnut sprouts in Green Wright's line, thence with said Wright's line to a white oak corner in J. M. Wright's line, dec., thence with said Wright's line to a bush(?) in J. W. Wright's line thence to a white oak stump in Wesley Bryant's line thence his line to a white oak J. R. Via's line thence to a dogwood in same thence to a maple on the old road in S. L. & T. J. Turner's line thence to a sourwood in Jeremiah Turner's thence with his line to a white oak thence with same to the beginning. Witnesseth the following signatures and seals.
